THE COURSECOURSE INFORMATION
DESCRIPTION
The 20-mile course follows the same scenic and challenging loop as the 11-mile route, with steep technical climbs and descents that will push your limits. Starting on the low-traffic single track, you'll ascend to the Bonneville Shoreline Trail, which leads to the Trail of the Eagle. The first leg of the loop climbs 4,100 feet in 4 miles, rewarding you with incredible scenery and views as you traverse the top of Bear Canyon via the rolling Bear Canyon Traverse Trail. After joining the Cherry Canyon Logging Trail, you’ll descend 4,100 feet in 4 miles on a steep, fast, and technical downhill to reconnect with the Bonneville Shoreline Trail.
For the 20-mile route, you'll check in at the aid station at mile 9.7 for a sticker/marking on your bib before starting your second loop.
**Please carefully consider your experience level before committing to a second loop. Completing two loops involves 8,000+ feet of climbing and steep, fast descents, requiring advanced technical skills and endurance.
You will be following florescent pink ribbon with signage for critical turns and junctions. Keep an eye out for caution tape that marks the wrong direction — don't cross over them!

BEFORE YOU RUNRules & Etiquette
DNF / Drop From Race
If you need to drop from the race you must let an aid station volunteer know you will not finish. You can also have someone on your behalf come to the start/finish line and notify us that you have dropped.
Litter
Pack out what you pack in. We ask for your cooperation to ensure no littering on the course. We have worked hard with the US Forest Service to allow us to put the race on — please help us protect that privilege.
